We first approached Rick Smith Design in 2012, regarding a speculative development within the borough of North Kesteven. It was imperative that we understood if the scheme would receive the support of the Local Authority and following an acquisition Rick Smith Design ensured that he worked within our timescales and budgetary constraints to successfully design and obtain planning consent early 2013. Following the development of the working drawings, the dwelling was constructed by Blackstone and sold during 2013. We approached Rick about July 2013, having bought a house which required a full extension and a complete facelift involving changing hideous flat-roofed dormers to cottage style pitched dormers, new porch, new roof, new windows etc. He was brilliant, always accessible and quick.
